As a full-time student at Brigham Young University-Idaho, I have had quite the degree turn-around rate. Do you think 3 times is impressive? Try 5!

While it took me a couple of tries to decide on a major, it’s because of all of that extra experience in other fields that I am confident I’m where I’m supposed to be. I’m currently pursuing my B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. But deep down, I also have a love that runs deep for design and making things look pretty and aesthetically pleasing. Whether you think they do or not depends on your own creative eye!

For the past 4 years I have been fiercely loyal to a company that is not even remotely close to the work I am studying so hard for. But it is getting me through school! I have learned how to use my existing knowledge and knack for communications and apply it in my everyday work. In a world where our only job is to restore homes and the contents inside of them after disasters, I have had the opportunity to be an essential communication liaison, manage and support an incredible team, and even assist on the design of some rebranding work and event logos.

I am a loyal to my own personal brand and always with a goal in mind. I can’t relax until everything is done and satisfactory. I’m always pushing to be better and learn something new! When I’m not at work or studying you can find me collecting and caring for 60+ houseplants, taking on embroidery patterns that I know I’ll never have time to finish, or reading a sappy love story novel. I’m in the market for new opportunities to help me grow my resume and mentors who think I have a running chance in this industry and who are willing to help me make it.
